It’s an Athearn PA-1 lettered for the Erie-Lackawanna. It’s a pretty common engine, and goes for about $40 new and $20-$30 used.

Yes,That is Athearn Alco PA2 A unit…When you can find these units they usually retail for around $30.00 discount or around $45.00 full price.Around $12-15.00 use.
Not worth as much as it used to be since P2K has since produced a more accurate better running one. That being said it is a good durable Athearn engine that should give you literally maybe 20 years of enjoyment. Run the wheels off it and remember your uncle when you do.

It’s good that is an Erie Lackawanna unit as EL used thier PAs in freight service in thier last years.
