Does anyone know the whereabouts of the great northern

[:X] Hi I was wondering if anyone has gone and seen or has any info. On the great northern train that left Milwaukee WI last year and. Went down to the. Kansas City railroad musem if any one has any info on this train please pass it on to me. [4:-)]

FWIW, The Dec 2004 TRAINS issue, on pg 86 (PRESERVATION), John Gruber has an article about The Union Station Kansas City buying a Milwukee train that had been the center piece of a bar called the “Milwaukee Great Northern”.

Will be a new attraction at the musuem but display only. The F unit is intact but inoperative.

Maybe your local library has a copy if this is the train of interest?

Maybe TRAINS has a back issue department? I know rail mags over here in the UK do. It’s worth investigating [:)]
