Why not email the website where the image came from in the above link? I’m sure they would know where the figure came from.
Because the image is from a stock photo company and I’m sure they are not interested in revealing the source of their image, they want want to be able to license the image and charge people to use it.
What do you have to lose? If you don’t get a reply, you’re no worse off than you are right now.
Is there some reason that it has to be that exact figure? What about that figure is important to you? Something must be, right?
I can link you up with a person that makes custom figures for a comfortable $5 to $8 per figure based on complexity. She’ll dress it the way you want, paint it the way you want, will try to match body size to what you want, will pose it the way you want, etc.
Unless this exact figure is what you want that is.
If you could let me know how to contact the person that would make a similar figure for me. That would be great! I am looking for something as similar to this as possible I would like to photograph it for a business card. You can email me directly and eholtorf@charter.net Thanks for your help!
I think that is a standard figure that comes with some K-Line structures. It normally comes unpainted. If you have a K-Line catalog handy, look at an image of the no. K-424012 ATSF caboose yard office. That figure can be seen (back to the camera) on the accessory’s base. Also, I believe, on the K-59002 Coke road and rail pack no. 1. I used a similar (not hatless) figure in my review of the Metcalfe Models cardstock goods depot in the September 2003 CTT.
I think that’s it! God bless you. I’ve been looking all over the net to find it. I even found a set of just k-line figures including that one at wholesaletrains.com Thank you very much!
