Does anyone know where there is a "Swap/Sell" free site for Model Trains?

I know ebay is a site where many people sell their stuff, but does anyone know of sites where the model train ads are free for both sellers and buyers?

craigslist

There are two other chat boards focused “O” gauge model railroading. Both have swap sub forums. I’ve used one of them.

That was quick! Thanks for the help, gentlemen!

You have to pay the annual dues but TCA and LCCA have free sites for swap/sell, plus printing and sending the info a few times a year.

O gauge Railroader and Model Trajn Journal have swap or sell sections.Kalmbach is goofy in that they refuse to allow members to sell or trade.Fine Scale Modeler is the same way.For that it is either the Bay or Hyperscale.Take note before the mods delete this thread.

Make sure you understand their rules. for example OGR is free but any dispute is between buyer and sell they will not intervene.

Also on OGR you can only do one listing a day, You can put a hundred items but it has to be all in the same listing.

There are a number of scale specific model train groups you can search for on Facebook. Some allow selling within the group, others prohibit selling entirely. A few model train groups exist specifically to facilitate selling and trading between members. (American Flyer Trains - Buy Sell and Trade for example.) Most of the model train group sites are moderated and the rules regarding selling will usually be posted in the group description. As stated previously however, the actual transactions between members are usually considered private agreements, so there are no protections for the vendor or buyer who use the sites per se.
