Does anyone make a decent #4 3-way turnout in code 83?

i see several #6 and a nice peco #4 3way in code 100. any ideas?

If you are willing to go this route, you can use code 100 to 83 transition track. Someone may manufacture these code 83 switches, but I don’t know who. Sorry i could not help out more.

In their new line of Code 83 track, Peco may make a #4 3-way but haven’t seen anything advertised yet. Perhaps an e-mail or letter to them might provide some answers. I do know that Walthers has a #6 3-way in code 83 but not a #4.

Check out www.railwayengineering.com or www.handlaidtrack.com. The first site will get you info on all of the assembled turnouts they make and I believe that #4 3-way code 83 is on their listing. The second site is for Fast Tracks so you can get a jig and build your own. Also you might also do a search for BK Enterprises turnouts. They sell partial assemblies or complete turnouts. I hope this helps.

I tried the railwayengineering link and did not come up with anything resembling code 83 turnouts. Is there something wrong with the link?

It should be www.railwayeng.com

http://www.peco-uk.com/grafix/83a.pdf

Look at the peco PDF and it indicates that 3 way will be coming, but it does not appear to be available yet.

go with the peco the rail sits below the plastic ,
and seems to hold up the best
