Recently I read an article on the use of telegraph type signals for dispatching and operating a layout. Did anyone else read that and can you tell me where it was published?

I can’t tell if this is the article you’re referring to but there’s a nice one in June 2001 issue of MR,I’d bet it’s THE one.
