I’m looking for someone to contact via e-mail who can answer some general questions about employment with NS. I’m currently in the military with my contract ending in about a year and a half, nevertheless it’s not too early to start some research. If anyone is willing to answer some general questions about career paths, schedules, salary/pay rates, etc., please let me know.

I looked at NS’s web site, but that doesn’t help me talk to someone who can explain the way the company REALLY works…
Do a search on this forum as there have been several helpful posts in the past, not necessarily NS but most Railroads have similar procedures. Also as mentioned have a look at the Yard Limits forum there is some good insight into hiring requirements…
