Does N scale Kato Unitrack come in 1 meter sections?

I seem to recall seeing some really long sections of N scale Unitrack about a year or so ago at one of the LHS’s in Dallas.

I can’t find a listing for it on the Kato website or at any of the other online vendors. Was I just seeing things?

I’m still trying to decide if I should go back to HO scale or try N scale for my next layout. N scale is very attractive to me due to the ability to run longer trains etc.
However, I already have a bunch of HO scale stuff from my old layout.

We are getting a new house in about 9 months or so and I’m going to set aside half the garage for a railroad.

Parking my car out side all the time is going to be a drag. Oh well!

All I have to say is go N scale. You can model twice the amount which you can with HO and it takes up less space.

Anyone else know about long sections of unitrack?

Check out the Unitrack users group on Yahoo. I’ve been working with Unitrack “N” for about 1.5 years. Love it, but one disapointment is I don’t think they make like a 1 meter piece. If thet did I would have bought some. Dave
