Does size make a difference (in DIY grassinator mesh?)

Not to belabor this to death, but I find I have a choice of mesh sizes with my tea strainers. One is almost 1.5 mm mesh and the other is slightly less than 1 mm. Doesn’t sound like much difference, but the appearance is noticeably different.

Do you think it matters which size I use? I guess I can always just experiment, but I thought I would ask anyway.

Yes, the size of the mesh does matter.

Longer static grass, i.e. 6mm, works better with mesh that has larger openings.

And shorter static grass, like the 2mm stuff… Well you know the answer.
