My website is more of “what I did” than “how to’s”. I take pictures as I go along and string them together with a narrative. Unlike magazines I show all the good and bad. Everything I have done on the layout is on the website.
The faux fur grass article is probably the only formal “how-to”. I developed that article for the March 2005 Railroad Model Craftsman. The editor, Bill Shamburg, was directed to the original “what I did” piece by a friend of his. Bill models central California and asked me to write an article. So thus I got my 15 minutes of fame.
