"DOINK"...OUCH...DOH!

I caught this ES44AC sitting in the BNSF(ex-Santa Fe) Emporia, KS yard earlier today, and seems like it has seen better days. Anyone know where this little accident happened at? The conductor’s side shows where it or something sideswiped the fuel tank, but it was still running. No leaks were found around it.

Take care,

Russell

Actually, they’re just “love bites,” from trying to mate with an SDMAC-70. Ouch!

I was thinking a game of tag got out of hand [:D][B)]

Russell

Notice the position of this GEVO…In between two SD40-2’s!!!

I went through emporia today, and on friday my friends dad (who works for UP) took us in the UP yard in kansas city [:D]

Lol! Jim, ya i was going to say something about that too! Just where the POS should be, in between the veterans.

Alec

That is sick. LOL.

Maybe with the “love bites” it could be old men with children [xx(]

HAHA, Ouch is right, was having a race with an ACe and lost!

now im jelous… the 2 UP yards are the only 2 we dont get near, theyve alwaysbeen alittle on the tough side on foamers. hell, weve made friends with a few BNSF special agents

I think it got it a fight with a Dash 8, depretly tying to keep its job!

The dash 8 won! LOL

Yes it did!!! They are old and creaky, but cool locomotives none the less.!!!

I don’t know.
It almost looks fine in the photo.
The last I’ve heard of a wreck was the Operation Lifesaver excursion wreck in the latest issue of Trains magazine.
Anyways…

C U ALL L8TER!!!
