Hi guys, Does anyone know the measurement of the parallel track centerlines on the Peco & Shinohara N scale double crossovers? Also, Peco is nearly twice the price of Shinohara, is it worth the extra money?
Thanks guys,
Bill

Peco makes great track. I have no experience with Shinohara but I know it is not DCC friendly (unless Walthers’ has released a new version of which I’m not aware.) I know the crossover center-to-center is slightly wider than normal paralleling of track. (ie. the center-to-center of, say, a yard ladder using Peco turnouts.) With no makeup track between TOs, the normal clearance is about 1 inch. The crossover is at least 1.5 inches and probably a little more. Hope this helps.
I saw some dimensions a while back on the Peco N scale double crossovers that had the track centers at 1-3/8".
Thanks for the info guys!!!
