The technique for modeling a fast moving river shown in volume 10 of DPB was just what I was looking for.

Ok. Next question. How do I find these dream plan build DVD’s? I searched through the MRR store but I couldn’t find them. Am I missing something obvious? I think I remember guys talking about getting these mailed out. Is that the only way? How do I get with the program?

My goal is to one day re-create that scene on my own layout. The industry is a seed/lentil cleaning plant that is serviced by a shortline Brandt Industries Rail Hauler. It’s pretty cool watching the Rail Hauler roll into town witha string of cars for the plant.

Not at all! Actually our weather thus far has been pretty warm. Only a few days where the temps got down to -25C aka -13F. Normally we would have seen at least three weeks of -30C aka -22F weather by now. I guess “Global Warming” has it’s good points…that is if you subscribe to that theory.
Just after the New Year nearly all the snow melted and it was +8C aka 46F. For January that’s downright tropical![:)]
