Where’s Mine???
A friend of mine received one, but has not yet opened it (he wasn’t even sure what it was). Like others, I would like to know how you become one of the chosen few. If someone finds out, please let us know!

Why did i resubscribe so late?
now im missing the August MR and the DVD!!!
I got one and I’m a current subscriber to MR, classic Trains and Trains and have been for a while. I checked out this thread in the hope that somebody else ran into a problem that I had with it. it started out pretty well and the got progresively jerkier where it would stop action and drop the audio and then pick up down the line as if it had been running all the while. It finally stopped at the high rail RR with the long hopper train and when I reran it it repeated, right down to the point that I got a permanent still picture of a coal train. I’m afraid the absense of similar complaints means my DVD player is kaput. Of course, since this is the only time I’ve played a DVD (as opposed to a CD) in months it’s not a matter of immediate concern.
I have two DVD drives in my PC - a DVD burner and a read-only drive. I had some problems with the playback from the DVD burner which I usually use for all my DVD’s. It had a few gliches occasionally and then froze completely during the airbrush segment. The other drive had no problems with the airbrush segment nor anything from that point on.

Jim and Charles: my copy had a few moments where the action stuttered and “digital boxes” appeared on the screen. It kept playing however.

Glad you liked the Dream Plan Build DVD! The first batch sent is a test, sent to a sampling of MR, Trains, Classic Toy Trains, Garden Railways and Classic Trains subscribers. Depending on the response more may be produced, but we won’t reach that point until later in the Fall. If enough readers like it, more will get the chance to see the first DVD and those that sign up will start getting subsequent DVD’s. The FAQ brochure in the first mailing has all the details.

Lori,
You goofed! You left me out of the sample audience! [8D]
Hi Lori,
Thank whomever for putting me on that first list. I think the series is a great idea. I really enjoy the Technique portions, sometimes words on a page don’t always get the point across.
