Dremel accessories

I have a Dremel 4.8 volt mini-mite cordless rotary tool. However, now I also want a corded one. I’m looking at the Dremel model 200 two-speed. Would my accessories for the mini-mite also work with this?

I have a cordless Dremel also, but I believe the corded one has the same chuck and uses the same bits.I think there are only two size bits and usually they give you a different collar to hold the bigger shanks.

I use a Corded Dremel 300 series with a variable switch from 5000 to 35000 rpm.

I generally stay below 15,000 rpm because I may have seriously burned it up trying to cut hardened steel plate last year.

I cannot tell you about the bit sizes. I choose dremel bits according to WAG suitability by trial and error.

I probably will get another dremel tool this year and it will be corded.

All of you Dremel access. will work with the corded and cordless tools. The rapid change chuck is a great idea for your corded tool, it will make switching acess. easier and faster.

Your bits and collets should be interchangeable. Things like the Dremel quick change drill chuck and flex shaft ARE NOT compatible with the cheap Chinese Dremel knock offs. (don’t ask how I know…[V])

As far as I know the bits should fit. I have the corded variable speed model with three foot flexible extention. I have much better control than holding the Dremel itself.

Rich

YES, I have both corded and cordless.
