Drew's Trackside Adventures: Episode 24 - Florida East Coast revisited

While watching Drew’s track side adventures in Florida I noticed that the color an pattern on the C-4’s was almost the same as the S.P’s Daylight trains

Hi Drew, I work across US1 from the FEC at the St Augustine airport and see 6 to 8 trains a night going in both directions along with the occasional meet around 1am. That is one busy mainline! I’ve been waiting for this episode, thanks!

Another excellent video! I agree with the other comments posted. Each episode gets better - the photography, editing, comments, etc. are all first class. Very enjoyable to watch. Thanks.

What? No rock trains?? We see 2-3 a day in Hobe Sound, which is just south of the Ft. Pierce yard.

Here in Hawaii all we can do is watch videos of trains. This was awesome !

Thank you everyone. I really enjoy reading all the comments. I’m glad this was a fan favorite!

Gerald, we saw plenty of rock at night. All we could manage during daylight were the rare loads on the head end of 101 at Port Orange. Just another reason to go back someday.

There is a mixed train with plenty of rock running through St Augustine between 6:00 and 6:30pm on Sundays.

Drew, next time you are Florida area again, you should check out the Fulkston Funnal.

Thanks for getting all this great footage of trains through out america. Keep up the great job!!

Another spectacular video by Drew and Crew! I hope you guys are considering a trip to New England for the Fall colors.

Thanks for visiting my area chasing down the C4’s. One street away from me Is the old Port Orange passenger station and behind me is the old crew quarters (rebuilt) where my friend and neighbor lives. I have seen the B&B circus train parked in the New Smyrna Beach yard along with gravel loads being delivered there. Watching your shots of the train as they roll across the river in the morning sun was a beautiful touch. Also, I am glad you enjoyed our “liquid” sunshine and morning “heavy” dew. Please visit us again. I really enjoyed you seeing the loco’s I watch on an (almost) daily occurrence.

As always, great video! I was waiting the whole video for ECH to show up, and you finally got him in that last shot. Wish you could’ve made it down here to Jupiter, but great video none the less!

Thanks Kenneth. I plan on coming back someday so Jupiter is still on the table. And what’s the FEC without ECH right? Have a good weekend!

That was a great episode,The next time you are in town come see my model Railroad it’s about 1/2 mile from the Crossing over the San Sebastian in St Augustine ,Got to go I hear another train coming
