Drew’s Trackside Adventures: Episode 28 - Exploring Lombard Canyon

Great video … the bird-eye view of the trains adds to the sense of the modelers view. These videos is why I subscribe to MR Video Plus… great images – well told, and good suggestions. Can’t wait for next episode – in B.C.

Drew - Great episode! I can’t help thinking that the river looked like it would be good fishing. Were you able to catch a few? We use to fish the Provo river in Utah and would see the Heber Creeper (No. 618, a Baldwin 2-8-0)slowly pulling the incline up the river bottom. Nothing is better than fishing and watching trains at the same time.

What can one say but “WOW!”

Episode 28 hits it out of the park. Can’t wait for 29, eh.

Drew, Another great episode from Lombard Canyon, the only thing missing was the Milwaukee Road. It’s great to see trains still running in Lombard canyon, which was named after chief engineer, A.G. Lombard of the Montana Railroad, which became part of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad in 1908. Loved the campsite location, right on the former MILW Road ROW, nice. Looking forward to future DTA with more aerial photography from Bessie.

Definitely my next summer vacation… Can’t wait to go to Canada in the next episodes. Great job and please keep it going, the ideas for the model railroad I am persently building keep coming… Thanks

Drew,
Best episode to date and I’ve enjoyed each and everyone one of them. Hope to meet you in person next week at Trainfest. Keep up the good work!

Allan

Once again - awesome!!

City boy!

PS Cowboy boots aren’t just for dancing!

Out standing Drew! Put a gold star by your name.

Fantastic episode!
The trout cam was really a new perspective.
These are some of the best prototype videos that I have seen.
thanks for taking us all on the trip to the canyon!

Great work Drew and the crew, pointing out the trackside details was a great touch and the underwater shots of passing trains was unique, not something you can do through a resin stream. Thanks

Particularly enjoyed the scenery details, very helpful for deciding what to do on my own layout. Envious of all that sunshine!
