Drew’s Trackside Adventures: Episode 29 - Fraser River Foray

Great job you guys. The Boeing plant footage was a nice bonus. That is truly spectacular country. Thanks for sharing. John

Awesome!!

Drew - Your travel adventures alone are worth the membership cost of MRVP. I look forward to each new episode and I’m never disappointed.

Once again fellas well done!

Drew,
Though like you I am primarily an FECRY fan I must admit this video shows some of the finest railroad scenery I have ever seen. You and Kent have done another outstanding job. Not knowing who takes which photos and videos it seems you both have a very talented eye for capturing the right shots at the right time.
Thank you!

(Sorry, if I give you 5 stars you will have nothing left to strive for.)

One word describes this…“Wow!”

Drew & crew,

I grew up just west of the Fraser canyon in Vancouver BC. I’ve explored that canyon many times (including rafting through Hell’s Gate!) but I have never seen it from the air. Thank you for the fantastic production and giving me a new perspective of one of my favourite haunts. Stan.

I agree with others … worth the membership alone. Some great views that make you think (and wish)
Great work … always looking forward to the next episode.

PS. I do enjoy the other segments of MRVP too!.

Great video beautiful trains and scenery looked like model railroads.

That was simply some of the best rail fanning footage I personally have ever witnessed . . . period.

Wow, Kent and Drew, you guys are providing the best railroading videos ever. Plans and trains mixed with some of the most rugged and beautiful scenery in North America…bravo fellas…and thank you.

Drew,

Great video as always. I’m still waiting, albeit less patiently, for some narrow gauge railfanning. Why not propose going to the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad when they do a photo freight this fall? If you can’t get Kalmbach to pay the full expense, start a Kickstarter so you can produce some video for both MRVP and a Youtube channel or something.

Awesome video coverage of amazing railroading through the mountains. Scenery is spectacular and you provide us with unique access to otherwise un-accessible areas of the great NW! Coverage of the Boeing Assembly Plant was great as I’ve seen the 737s come through Plattsmouth, Nebraska on the BNSF line headed to Seattle. This has been the best to date of all the Trackside Adventures… can’t wait for the next installment.

Allan

Wow what a scenery and great views from the plane. I wish we could get some of these types of video shot in the Swiss alps around the St Gotthard pass and the from the Glacier Express, or in Austria from the Simplon Pass.
.

The black & white of CP8793 exiting the Yale Tunnel was worth the price of admission for me. A spectacular shot from an outstanding video. ONWARD Indeed!

I have to admit that when I first read that one of the video series on the new MRVP was going to be “Drew’s Trackside Adventures” my response was “meh.” I had signed up to MRVP for the modeling tips and “how-to” videos. However I have since found both the video and photos in “Drew’s Trackside Adventures” inspiring, and Drew’s style and delivery is engaging and informative. It really makes one feel that they are along for the ride and now I eagerly await every new “adventure”. Well done Drew!

First rate video! Thanks.

Love all Trackside adventures. One item I would like to see would be aerial shots of all sizes of rail yards from many of your adventures. Empty to working or cars waiting. One of those rail yards I’d like to see is in Columbus, Georgia.

Awesome! Two of my most favorite past times . . . flying and model railroading! Well done.
