I’ve never heard of them until you bought them to my attention. They may be very good but I think the acknowleged leader in DCC, both in parts and installation, is Tony’s at http://www.tonystrainexchange.com/ . You might try getting a quote from both shops and see who gives you the best price as a start.
I’ve never heard of them. Another good one is Litchfield Station at http://www.mr-dcc.com
Loco,
I’ve never heard of Duneland either. Here’s my recommendations - two of which have already been given:
Tony’s Train Exchange - http://www.tonystrains.com
Litchfield Station - http://www.litchfieldstation.com/lobby/index.htm
Empire Northern - http://www.empirenorthernmodels.com
All three are very good with installations. Tim Smith @ Empire Northern is not as well know but he does terrific work. He’s based in Webster, NY - just down the road from NCE. I’ve always had pleasant dealings with all three.

Thanks all. I’ve use one of the two local shops for three engines, but they where rather spendy. Top notch work, with no question. The other shop has my last Big Boy and will see how they do. The rest are early diesels and I just don’t feel comfortable doing them. So wanted to explore a few options.
Duneland has been doing excellent installs for several years now. They are quite reasonable in their charges. I don’t think you’ll go wrong with giving them a try.[tup]
Greetings,
One of my friends forwarded your post to me, I am the owner of Duneland DCC. I would like to know what search engines you used when you did not get a hit. I just did a search on Google, Yahoo, and Ask.com and all three came up with my website or one of the pages from it as the top listing. I also have an advertisement on Wiring for DCC. I have contributed to the advancement of the DCC hoby by posting installation articles on both Wiring for DCC and on the TCS web site. My goal is to provide a quality install at a fair price and to advance the use of DCC by model railroaders. If you have any questions pleas feel free to comtact me directly. My e-mail address is dunelanddcc at yahoo dot com. All other information is available on our web site.
Thank you,
Robert Petit

Will send you a private e-mail :o) And it was just a local search on the boards here.
Robert, you have a nice looking web site and I have no reason to think you don’t do quality work. If I may make one suggestion, a busines who’s e-mail contact is a Yahoo e-mail address does not inspire confidence, at least in me. Since you already have a domain name and server, it shouldn’t be that hard to add a mail server with your domain name as part of the e-mail address. It will look a lot more professional.
Jim and others,
I agree, unfortunately I am in the process of changing my hosting company. One of the main reasons I am changing companies is that they did not set up my domain e-mail. There is a feature called an Auto-responder that will forward the e-mail that you send to a domain to any e-mail acount that you have set up. As an example, orders@dunelanddcc.com could be forwarded to just about anywhere. Currently having a yahoo domain e-mail address is the best option for me until I can get this all straightened out.
Take care,
Robert Petit
