Can someone Please explain to me why is the EOTD 452.9375 mhz the same as the EOTD 457.9375 mhz? And yet the Chirps on both these 2 Frequency’s are not the same. The 457.9375 has the Typical “CHIRP” while the 452.9375 has a much different sound! But the good thing that I do like about this Frequency is (452.9375) And yet it gives a “MUCH BETTER” advanced WARNING of an approaching Train! The EOT’s Radio range’s from 3 to 4 Miles so that you know that something is a coming. So if you have a Scanner Radio,Program this one in your Radio. I thought that the EOT Transmitts only on 457.9375,I guess I was wrong. But now on 452.9375 mhz.

I belive one is the E.O.T. itself, and the other is the locomotive talking back.
And i belive the reason you like the other one better is because its the locomtive (front) instead of the E.O.T. (rear).
I also have a question, what RR are you listening/tring to listen too? BNSF? And what kind of scanner?

Two. It’s a Radio Shack 300 Channel. Pro 93. With all that Geto Crap[;)].
Three. I do know that alot of UP Power that is on the point in your area so you might be abel to pick it up on your Scanner weather on the NS or not.
