E8's for via rail ?

good morning to all just want to know if via had any e8 e9s? want to paint qne any pics? rambo1…

Pick up the current issue of “Passenger Train Journal”, it has an article on the CP’s three E-units from the fifties. Two of them made it to VIA Rail but were retired and scrapped after three years. I believe these were VIA’s only E-units. I don’t have the article with me, can’t remember right now if they were E-7’s or E-8’s.[%-)]

CP E8A’s 1800-1802 were the only E’s in Canada. They were usually assigned to the “Atlantic Ltd”.
