Early photos ( cefinkjr )

I told Charles in another topic that I would have some pics in this weekends Photos. I will be away this weekend so I have to post them early. You requested H8 you got it plus some.

Hope that will satisfy that desire.

Nice pics! I especially like the shot of the power posing in the yard.

What type track are you using and how did you weather it?

Believe it or not Atlas code 100. Spray painted lightly with Rustoleum ruddy brown primer. Sifted stone dust for ballast.

NICE!!! That’s a good steamer line up shot. Is that one an IHC Hudson? If so, how does it run?
I’ve been using the Rustoleum earth brown on my tracks. I really like the effect.

lookin good, i love steam especially C&O steam

I’ll agree with Adam, C & O had some nice steam. Great pictures lesterperry!

Looks great! I can’t believe thats Code 100, awesome job!

OK, so why did I weather my track with the Micro Engineering acid???

Actually, the ME solution works very well.

Nice work with the Rustoleum!

Impressive collection of steam lesterperry. Love the H8 hope to own two someday (N & HO). Keep up the good work.

Oh, wow–TWO Beasts from the East! That’s a major drool-inducer, friend. Gloriosky, those are handsome critters! And I like the rest of your line-up, too–C&O steam has always fascinated me for the sheer beautiful balance of their lines. How about some closeups of your kit-bashed Greenbriar? I’d really like to see how you did it.
Congrats on the Rustoleum, BTW–I was afraid for a while that I was the only one who’d ever discovered how good that stuff is, LOL!

Oh, yah, BTW, I’ve got one, too. It’s being ‘borrowed’ by the Rio Grande for a while, yup!

So… all my guesses were correct, except for the kitbashed Greenbriar. I assumed it was brass.

Yeah, you sure are forgiven for whatever it was you were apologizing for.

Expecting them in the earlier topic; I almost missed these. Found 'em while looking for something else (amazing how your own name kind of jumps off the screen at you).

Very nice, Sir. My favorite is the second shot (H8s meeting). And I was right in identifying all of those engines – except, of course, your kitbashed Greenbriar. Again, very nice, Sir. [bow]
