Earthquake DC traction motor parts shortage??

Today’s newswire noted that Hatachi Group that manufactures carbon brushes for JR West DC traction motored EMUs has taken major damage and will not be making some for a while. JR West is curtailing EMU service starting in April to ration the brushes they do have.

Questions:

Does Hatachi also make brushes for other RRs LOCOS and which ones?

Does this include any US RRs and especially any EMU operators?

If so then those RR’s AC traction motored locos may be put to heavy use?

I wonder where Mitsubishi make Traction Inverters for EMD SD70ACes? Then of course the fact that silicon wafers are in shortage is another problem.
