Hello- Can anyone tell me if Eastern Car Works, a manufacturer of HO gauge plastic kits, is still in business? I have e-mailed them, and sent a letter with a SSAE and have had no reply to either. Regards- Richard W.
Type Eastern Car Works into Google and it will take you to their Web site. I’m not sure if this is the one you’re looking for, but the name is the same.
The website for Eastern Car Works, www.easterncarworks.com, is down, and has been since I first tried it more than a week ago.

As far as I know, ECW is still around. I use their trucks and have a couple of
thier freight cars. I order them through my LHS from the Walthers catalog
and have always gotten what I ordered.
Jery Britton from Merchandise service said he had not gotten any shipments from ECW in a while, but this week received a large shipment that filled his inventory.
