Here in Europe, N scale cork roadbed has a thickness of 3 mm or .12", HO scale roadbed has 5 mm or .19"
That seems to be typical. Even the Woodland Scenics foam roadbed is 3mm and 5mm. On my previous layout I use the HO on the main and N for the sidings, shimming it up with thin cardboard so it wasn’t a sudden drop. I’m usign cork this time but will probably do the same thing. It looked nice with a train on a siding and another on the main and they were visibly at different heights.

Hi, and Thanks!
I thought I would be home all day, but my other half decided we needed to drive to Kohls, and as we were out I hit the LHS, and yes, the thickness of Midwest is very close to 1/8 inch (what I needed). So I got 12 pieces, and just finished caulking/pinning them in for my yard lead track.
Thanks again!
