I would like to know where I can find the program to be loaded into the MC cited in the article in subject. In fact I have mailed to Donald Wood about the availabity of the Smini node components and boards, I received very detailed information but no reference to the program.

The program is included free in the new version 3.0 manual. Contact JCL for a copy, purchase price about $30. And you will need the manul.
The RR Application Manual is being updated, it should be out in the spring. You’ll need that one too.

Sorry for the troubles, but I need more information about the subject.
What kind of experience have you with such device? Is it difficult to assembly? Is it critical to programm and to put it in service? Reading the articles, this seems to be the solution to avoid kilometers of cables and a spider net under the layout, but what and how many are the hidden problems?.
I would like to use this system for the club layout and therefore I must be sure that it will work well reducing the problems and not to increase them.

It is a fairly easy system to install and operate. If you’ve got anyone familiar with programming in VB, it will help. Not critical, VB is simple enough for anyone to pick up.
The modular ability of the system makes it a snap (relative term) to set up. I’m hooked on it, think it is a great system.
