a person posted two new engines as mint but has not tested because he does not have track.they are clearly dummies that do not even have woking couplers.they are something you would give a two yearold to play with. the sad part is he bid 45…dollars for both. one more discouraged with the hobby
why dont you email him and tell him?
Some people just sell what ever they get there hands on, not knowing anything about what they have. This happens allot, so it pays off to look at the pictures and ask questions.
Buyer beware- don’t EVER buy anything if the seller doesn’t know anything about it. also did he actually SAY they were powered?
One must be careful on Ebay. It is great, but one must read the descriptions (and shipping!) with great care. Caveat emptor!
Anytime I find something I’m interested in on ebay, I first check the sellers feedback. If that turns out okay - yet I’m not sure about the item and it’s condition, I write the seller and ask. If the seller writes back and isn’t knowledgable about the item or acts as if he’d rather I hadn’t bothered him, I generally won’t risk buying the item.
