Anybody do any rail fanning there & can recommend some good spots?

The depot where Amtrak stops would probaly be your best bet…El Paso is a border town with lots of illegals coming and going by rail…There is heavy border patrol and rr police presence in the area…There have also been kidnappings from the area, I would stay on the main streets to do any photography…Danny

If you want to take a “short” drive east on 10, I would suggest Sierra Blanca (if you have the time).

Thanks for suggestion. I will be coming from the east on I10 & intended to spend some time at S. Blanca before moving on to El Paso
