I was wondering if anyone has any bright ideas on how to elevate HO Unitrack. N gauge Unitrack has bridges and raised supports, but has anyone found a way of raising HO Unitrack so that you can cross one track over the other. I am looking for a more interesting layout plan than a simple oval that can be put up on a temporary basis and then taken down again when I need the space.
Cookie cutter method of your roadbed support surface, IE plywood…There have been train sets that do oval over N under using snap track and no plywood cutting, there may be pier supports available to tied the roadbed down to it, expect to do a little work.
The step up from this is advanced roadbed work, a little more planning ahead of layout constuction .
