Evening all. Nothing for me, thanks
Had a rough game today. We played the town where I used to play on the youth team, so I knew a lot of the guys. We got destroyed, 16-4. We’ll see what happens with tomorrow’s game; I don’t know how they are.
Also, I got ACT scores back (took them in April). For those that don’t know how the system works, you can get a score between one and 36 on each of the four sections. They are averaged together and that is your composite score. I got a 33 on English, a 32 on Math, a 33 on Reading, and a 31 on Science. When averaged together, my composite score was 32.
My essay, however, was apparently not that great. I got a 6 out of 12. Here are the comments on my score report:
“Comments on Your Essay: Your essay responded to the prompt by taking a clear position on the issue. Your essay used some specific details, reasons, and examples, but it needed more of them.”
To me, THAT sounds like it was pretty good, and the comments made it sound like it would have been higher than a 6. Oh well, I’m still pleased with my scores!
SAT’s on the other hand, I’m somewhat concerned about. I’m taking them on Saturday, and my PSAT’s were not that great (for me). However, even if I don’t end up doing that well, I can always retake the SAT, or I could just send my ACT scores.
Now catching up on posts from Page 6 to now…

Last summer, I worked two jobs, on checking badges on the beach 10-4 on weekends, and bussing tables at a restaraunt 5-11ish various days, but almost every Saturday and Sunday. Towards the summer, I started waiting at the restaraunt, and my number of hours increased. Even before the increase, it was hard working from (basically) 10am-11pm two nights a week. This year, I’m planning on waiting at the restaraunt and not doing the badge checking. It’s no
