Welcome to this month´s Diner.
Feel free to join the crew - that´s Janie, Flo. Chloe, Zoe and Cousin Vinnie - for a chat about model railroading and other, non-model railroading related topics!

Whew…I’m glad I made it in time to catch the diner this month. Oh, where are we headed?
Hi Ulrich, Hey Curt.
Two thunder-boomers came through tonight. Spent the second one with Storm Cat out on the front screened porch and enjoyed the show. All clear.
Have a good night all.

Time for me to call it a night. See y’all tomorrow.
Hello Fellow Dinners, where ever we are?
Flo, Beer Please.
Well I am pretty much Discussed with the ways thing are going at work! I have not quite a job for years, but this one is getting me close!
Cut my hair, only comment from Dave was “its about time, you have to next week to trim your beard or I am going to cut it for you”! My beard at it longest is may be a 1/4 inch?
Satins Spawn Larry, while walking pass him (don’t know if he saw me coming) said to Dave, " now if we could get rid of the person up front (sales desk) that messes up the work orders we be in good shape". Far as I know, I am not messing up tickets but he smiled when he saw me.
There are other things I could go into, but it is late. We closed at 7:00 PM but did not get the last one done till 9:15 plus I had to train a new victim on how to close. Did not get out the door till 9:45 PM.

Lets do a tour down under [;)]
Good Evening Modelers!
Sad new today from the fire…
Good Morning,
I was not really awake when I moved the Diner to its April position, so I forgot to mention, where we are this month. I thought it´d be nice to enjoy some fairer weather, so we are now in Parrish, FL, touring the Florida Railroad Museum.
Have a good day & stay safe!
GOOD MORNING!!!
Today is April Fools Day, April 1st, 2012!!!
Also known in the Christian World as Palm Sunday!!!
Prepare Ye, prepare Ye!!!

Bongiorno! This unusual greeting comes to you from Florence, Italy. We’re vacationing here. The weather and the scenery are just beautiful. No trains yet, but we will probably be taking a trip down to Naples and Pompeii later this week.
I could sure use a cup of American coffee, though…
Benvenuti a Firenze, Mr. B.!
Florence is actually the home of A.T.T.S. - Associazione Toscana Treni Storici - the Tuscan Historical Train Society.
You´ll find a link here - maybe there is some valuable info for you for your vacation in “Bella Italia”
Good Morning,
Jim, that is a good reason to do 20+ years in the military, the medical insurance is actually pretty good. I’m not overly impressed with the dental insurance but it’s better than nothing. After all I’ve been through this year I’ve only had about $600 out of pocket expenses. I still think anyone “practicing medicine” or practicing law” shouldn’t receive so much money until they learn enough that they don’t have to “practice” on me….
Curt, anchoring isn’t as easy as it sounds especially if you have the wrong anchor for the bottom type. I’ve been to almost every island in the Caribbean and Grand Cayman was nice. I thought it was better than the ABC islands or PR. You couldn’t pay me enough to go back to Jamaica.
Lee - 50 lbs. is quite a lot. Imagine a stack of 100 packs of butter. In Germany, butter is sold in 1/2 lbs. packs…
Right now, I still have problems to move around. Each move hurts quite a bit. [|(]
Good morning. It’s 68°F and cloudy with fog becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon. The high will be 88°F.
No set plans for today. I may work on some locos later. My really BIG six axle locos that liked my old layout (even the 18" radius curves) don’t like the new layout. That’s OK. I have some smaller locos that are in need of decoders and seeing as the big ones won’t be needing theirs, well, you know how that goes. If you hear a pair of SDP40F’s screaming for help as their decoders are being ripped out just ignore it. They’re just seeking attention.
Good Morning
We have not even started April yet and we are already on page two here…[:P]
Day is starting a bit wet this morning…they forecast 60% chance of rain and we are getting it…in monsoons…
Having a quiet day today…listening to the birds in our backyard…proposing to attempt a clean up of a couple of Fibber Magee and Mollie closets in here …then getting some tiles readied for Floor Wars, London ON division, forgot which number…[:-^]
Woops, looks like I posted the same time as Urlich, so I got left at the old location.
On the bright side, Florida is nice, bit crowded from spring break, but still…
Now back to your regular scheduled post.
Powerlifting- My school has an option where you can choose between 3 different types of gym classes, an athletic performance class or powerlifting.
As for scores, I placed 8th in bench 180 pounds, and third in deadlift with 400 pounds lifted.
Good morning, Chloe. If we are in Florida, it should be warmer. I can’t wait.
Today I plan some layout time.
