Ellis and Eastern Gp-10

I model Ellis and Eastern in N-scale, they have 2 gp-10s. Does anyone have any ideas on how to make them?http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=2725475http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=1238069

Purchase models decorated for a different railroad and repaint/decorate for what you want is probably going to be your only option.

Since there is not an N scale model that matches the loco, this is not real helpful…

In order to get an N scale GP10, it is best to start with an Atlas GP9. Chop the hood and add a new cab from an Atlas SD26. This will get you close enough. If you want to go further, the battery boxes are different and the handrails will need a little work on top of them. There are other details, so one could could go on and on.

Intermountain has announced one of these Paducah rebuilds in HO. Who knows if they will offer one in N or not. If they do, that would be perfect for your situation.

By the picture, it looks like they may have more than just the two. #'s 27 37 47.

The one furthest to the left, in the first pic. # 47, has dynamic brakes, the center one # 37, and #27 in the second Pic.doesn’t…

Johnboy out…

The 27 and 37 are GP10’s, which is what the OP asked about. The 47 appears to be a GP38.

Thanks everyone! Ill probably chop the nose of a GP-9 and replace the cab!

I need some GP10s and I think the best way to go is 3D… design, print, fill, sand, fill, sand, fill, sand, TA DA
