EMD diesels to test on Alabama short line
The reporting mark for the Alabama & Tennessee River Railroad is ATN, not ATR, which belongs to the Alliance Terminal Railroad of Haslet, TX. Coincidently, both railroads are owned by OmniTRAX.

Why does EMD needs to testing the SD70ACE after all these years. I don’t know what it is but something is in the works and I think we all need to keep an eye EMD because

They are testing Tier 4 emission I think on ATN. But those units were sent here I think because of the fact some might were having issues because they were the last units built and they had to work the bugs out. They should be getting more the in a month or two for emmissions test on those.
