eminent domain

Hello well my RR is calming eminent domain on the rest of the room. The room size is 12’4’‘x8’4’’ and I get it all . My layout is 5’x8’4’’ one side open. Now I can have a L shaped and so now the planing begins. I could of had the room upstairs witch is bigger but it was to much work to move everything around and I would still not have as much room as I do now . I am going to make the bench work out of a old water bed and try to save some cash for more track and everything else I might need to get going on it . I should be Abel to start in a week or so. Oh yea the wife did say it was ok and she got the bigger room. Not to sure of the track plain just yet but have some ideas. If you have ideas for L shaped layout I am open to some .

I think once I made a tiny streetcar circle about 6 inch radius with working overhead and 4 wheel bobber spinning around…thatll fit on that layout…

A woodsy lumber line with shays and climaxes? both available ez in HO today.

I recently tried to impose eminent domain to expand the size of my railroad domain; my wife, however, had a superior argument. She shook a Colt CAP under my nose and informed me that it wouldn’t take very much effort for my eminent domain to become no domain. Next time I think I’ll try to dazzle her with brilliance instead of baffling her with BS.

Hello yes this is good news but a lot more questions come with more room. what do i want, where will it go, does it fit ect. Well I am not sure yet. But I am working on a print I am going to try and post a pic of it in the next day or so .It is ho scale . I think a small town with some industry. Maybe a tunnel. I do like the idea of a trolley line . There is a lot to pick from. Thanks Frank

Man, I wouldn’t know what to do with so much room… My little 6 1/2 X 3 1/2 N scale layout is about all I can deal with right now, and was a real chore for me to fill all of the open areas on. Maybe one day I’ll build a larger layout, but it’ll have to be after the model railroading bug bites me again and I just have to give in and go with it…

Hello here is my first print the yellow line would be the main line. The print is not to scale it looks like I have more room but not that much. I like the round house and turn table and would like to add a ash pit ,coal tower and water tank by the round house but not sure of the spacing ? The line that goes through the middle I thought of putting the town there and some places for the train to stop at ? still open to more ideas. Thanks frank
