What will be the dates of operation of the EB as of October 19th? How short will be the consist be?

Westbound, No. 7, the Empire Builder, departs Chicago on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday. Eastbound No. 8 departs Seattle on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. The same schedule applies to the Portland section.

I don’t have any information regarding the consist. The Texas Eagle, as an example, dropped the transition sleeper, lounge car, and one coach. It consists of a sleeper, which runs through to LAX, dining/lounge car, and two coaches, one of which runs through to LAX.
