Can’t AMTRAK run the Empire Builders after about one week of no trains?

I watched the original “Silver Streak”. They ran that train at top speed.

P. S. About 1968 or so NP Condr Brown was eastbound near St.Cloud MN and derailed. The car ahead of the caboose stayed on the track!

In Top Gun, they ran that plane at mach 10. Same thing, with the same enabling technology.

Problem is that the real Bulider deals with more than CGI track conditions.
