I was in New York at Cold Spring and Saw an Empire train go by and that thing had to be goin 90+ mph…It was awsome…I also saw some Metro North go by…next train to see(and hopefully ride) is the Downeaster!!! Goin to MAine for the summer!!!
The limit thru Cold Spring probably was 90 mph. If you go up north of Hudson NY, you could see some 100+ mph running, paticularly the stretch between Stuyvesant and Rensselaer.
