I’ve been searching the web. does anyone know where to find a new or used life-like gp38 shell. and does anyone know the best way to remove factory paint without melting the model???

Go to ebay. If your not set up, then get set up. It’s a free registration. Look up HO SHELL or GP38 SHELL or Porto SHELL.

To Strip, Use Pine sol. Absoulutly same. Just soak the shell in a bugcket that you don’t plan on using for food or anything that’s to good house hold use. It only takes 20 -30 mins for your model to strip. DO NOT LEAVE OVER NIGHT.
