ENTRY LEVEL EXAM TEST QUESTIONS...

ONCE BNSF INVITES YOU TO A TESTING SESSION WHAT TYPE OF MATHMATICAL QUESTIONS ARE ON THE TEST. IS THE INITIAL ENTRY LEVEL TEST HARD? IF SOMEONE PLEASE WOULD GIVE ME A LITTLE INSIGHT…

A train leaves one station traveling east at 60 miles per hour. A train coming west leaves its terminal moving at 50…

The TCAT test I was given by BNSF before my interveiw with them contained basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplecation, and division), questions that had a graph and you needed to find different answers, and a personality section. Not to hard.

THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH! WISH ME THE BEST!

GOOD LUCK

Good luck (with apologies if my flippant answer was out of line)! You’ll find that math will be among the least of your worries.

The questions are basically to weed out people with hidden learning disabilities such as dislexia(spelling). They are also designed to show how fast a person can make important decisions and think. Most questions are basic common sense. But some are hard just to weed out those with a weaker education. There is no way to study for it. Just be open minded and concentrate. You will find some of the math questions are too hard to do in your head, I think you are supposed to skip them and move on. When I did mine I was able to finish more questions when I skipped the impossible ones. It must have been ok, because I did get hired.

What is the average airspeed velocity of an unlaiden swallow?
