Hello; I know i have read post’s about water product’s and foam so i did an experiment. I did my first water pour for my cow pond. To prep. the pond I carved out the foam, lined the bottom & sides with plaster, painted the scummy efects with acrylic’s some brown’s, green’s & black for the deep part, then when dry I mixed the envirotex & did my pour. I had a little extra envirotex mixed, because to much is better than not enough. I did not like the look of the black so I took some brown paint added to my extra Tex, mixed poured a little in the pond and mixed it up. It hid the black & look’s much better. Still haveing extra Tex i poured some on some pink foam insulation and the envirotex did not eat the foam. Very happy with my first pour.

Got a scanner? When I want really good layout pictures, I pull out my old trusty 35mm. I can control all the parameters, and I can mount it on a tripod for stability, another thing that my handy digital camera doesn’t allow.
How much “working time” did you get with the Envirotex? And how deep was the pour?
MisterBeasley The instruction’s say you have 25min. before it start’s to harden & i belief that was about right. I tapered the bottom of my pond, pond size is about 2.5in wide& 3.5in long, the deep end pour was at least 1/4 in tapering to nothing at the walk in end. Thank’s for the scanner tip i will have to wait till i fini***he roll & get them developed. The envirotex was very easy to work with.
