I’m sure this is on the forum somewhere but I didn’t see it in the searches I’ve done. I’ve done one pour of Envirotex light and it seems to be curing nicely. Do I need to wait the 72 hours until fully cured to do a second pour or is 24 hrs enough. I can certainly wait the 72 but am excited to see it with the second pour. Am I asking for trouble by not waiting?
Hi, Corey!
I use the stuff alot, wait if you can. I’ve always found plenty to do in the mean time.

Yes, wait if you can.
Another suggestion is to put a tent over your water area after each pour. I used a brown paper bag, a piece of newspaper would work fine too. Just make sure it is supported so that it will not touch the surface. By using the tent you will keep any unwanted material (dust, ground foam, whatever) from falling onto your curing surface and getting embeded there.
Good luck,
Richard
Terry and Richard, thank you for taking the time to reply. I didn’t know if it was common knowledge to go ahead or wait. I’ve decided to wait a few days just to be safe. Thanks again.
