Epoxy Resin VS Paper

Hello, I am making wood piers for my Atlas Truss Bridge and I will be gluing on the wood piers “a cut stone photo from a real bridge pier” printed on paper.

My question is: Will the paper be affected by the Epoxy Resin (imitation water) ?

Thank you and have a nice day [;)]

I suspect the resin will wick in to the paper. A coat or two of flat clear polyurethane or other sealing finish would avoid that.

Thanks for your advice Lou it’s very helpful; I think sealing the paper will do the trick.

You’re very welcome. Happy Modeling.
