Equipment IDs wanted

I was in Nebraska in June and had the chance to take a few train pictures. I appreciate any helping in IDing the locomotives and MOW equipment here.

This was taking in Hooper, NE and it’s part of the Fremont and Elkhorn Valley Railroad.

The next two were taken in O’Neill, NE. The first is at the end of a large industrial plant of some sort. The plant is to the right and the highway, US 20 I think is just to the left. The highway in this part of the state follows an old C&NW that is now a bike path.

This was behind a building in a different part of town around dusk near where workers were replacing ties on a track through a neighborhood.

Your last picture is a kershaw ballast reulator, the two loco’s look to me like old GE dockside switchers…maybe, kinda sorta, yes,no? Danny

(1) Baldwin/Whitcomb S-3 (Only 5 ever built), used to be at Bradshaw, NE
(2) SW-1B (de-cabbed)…several of those in Nebraska and the Midwest …RCL unit
(3) Kershaw Model 26 Ballast regulator (Old, uses cable motors to raise and drop wings and nose plow)

Thanks mudchicken.

That first one behind the Baldwin looks like a GE Tonner, maybe a 45??

Looks like a 44 tonner, not as big as the 65 tonner.

SW1-B appears to be one of the former Inland Steel “zombies” that used to be Relco 513-515…How did Helm (HLCX) get it?
