Just a friendly reminder that the Model Train show located at Rainbow Gardens here in Erie, PA will be next sunday, March 4th. I will be there with my Marklin display layout, and my friend will be there with a British train display. This show is a good pot luck show, you never know what guys will bring each time. Show opens at 10am and goes to 3pm. If you need directions, just google “Waldameer Amusement Park” , Rainbow Gardens is park of the park. Hope to see you there. Mike T

I’ll be there , Wife willing . I live in Erie, try to go to the show every year. It’s alittle of everything , some dealers , lots of regular guys selling stuff they don’t want. Little of everything Lots to look at.

If anyones interested, there’s a great spot to railfan next to the Welches Juice plant in Erie. 4 or 5 mainlines. Lots of high speed big deisel traffic.There’s also a little train museum across the tracks from Welches. Got to see one of those Amtrak double decker trains go by about 90mph. That thing was impressive.

The train museum you speak of is the Northeast Railway Historical Society. I was member there back in the 70’s, then life(wife kids) slowed me down. They have a nice collection of rail cars and such. The origional train station is the meeting place and museum.
