Erie Railroad Interlocking Tower Kit?

I am familiar with scratchbuilding but it seems that not that long ago someone came out with an HO kit for a wooden, Erie Interlocking tower. I am modeling a freelance location in which my Wabash RR Branch crosses the Erie in Indiana and would like to model an Erie tower plus a depot in the early 1950’s.

This kit may fit my needs and save me time that could be used on other projects on the layout unless it models too large a tower. (My tower would only have about 20 levers tops.) If there are any plans out there for such a tower, and in addition, a small depot for that end of the line, I might be interested too. I looked in the Walthers catalog and the Erie Railroad Historical Society’s site and did not see what I was looking for. If indeed, such a kit is available, I wouldn’t mind someone letting me know what the quality is too. I have high standards for quality and prototypic accuracy.

I plan on checking the magazine index but would rather have a kit.

Thanks in advance.

wabash,

American Model Builders (AMB) makes a very nice laser-cut interlocking tower:

It isn’t specifically Erie but it has some nice detailing to it. They also make a nice 13-lever interlocking machine:

Hope that helps…

Tom

The Erie Lackawanna Historical Society was selling some (exclusive to the ELHS) Erie towers in N and HO made by the N Scale Architect. You might check with them.

Thanks Alco Fan. That was the first place I looked–on their website. However, if someone else wouldn’t have told me, I would have never found them. What I mean is, if you click on “shop” and "modes"l on their site all you see is rolling stock. But if you click on the PDF line for the order form, they are there. However, I will contact them and see if indeed they are in stock.
