Howdy all, I just finished a bunch of my vacation photos, Including Railroad shots from England and France, as well as an outing with Chris (CopCarSS)

If you want I can post my trip journal, its quite long, but if oyu want ot read it let me know.

My ride from Denver to London. A British Airways Boeing 777. Rock Springs ot Denver was a Little 18 seat Beechcraft 1900 (For you plane buffs)

After a night in London, I caught a train to Paris at St. Pancras Station.

Then I caught a train to Caen, but Didnt get any photos photos at St. Lazaire Station because the train was leaving immediately and it was a rush.

So after Visiting Normandy, I hopped a train at Caen Station back for Paris.

After about and hour, and leaving the final stop before Paris we got to top speed and immediately slowed back down to a stop. After sitting on the train for a while listening to a few announcements wishing I had taken French in High School, this older gentleman asked me, “You don’t understand French do you?” I told him no, so he began ot translate for me, explaining that the locomotive had broken down. After an hour and a half they announced that they would be sending a locomotive from our last

Excellent stuff, RJ! The gallery of your full trip looks excellent as well, though I haven’t had a chance to go through everything in there yet. I’ll be sure to check out the whole gallery when I get some free time!

The last shot of 844 is spectacular, by the way. I love the composition on that one. Nicely done!

I dont want to seem like Im complaining, but a couple of the pics have something that looks superimposed in the photo…Look closely at the French depot ,something is written across it and the same in the Union Sta. pic…I noticed it when I clicked to enlarged the image…

I just looked again and its the logo of the gallery your on, its in several pics…Maybe its to keep from copying?

That is a watermark. My website allows me to put a standard watermark on it to protect my work, I am not worried about you guys, it is the other crazies out there I am worried about.

Fantastic photos!

Brings back some fond memories for me, since I took my first trip to Europe only a few months ago. St. Pancras is just beautiful.

Yeah. I use the DeviantART WM becasue I just dont have the time to place my own. When I get the time, I will go through and put mine on in strageic spots and take down the large gawdy DA one…

No problem. Glad you enjoyed them! I still cant put the beauty of that station into words…
