Hello All
What is the difference between the Exact Rail Signature Series Rolling Stock vs the Evolutoin series?
I now have 2 of the evolution series and am considering picking up one of the signature series but the price is 10 bucks more.

Mostly in the level of detailing. I thought their ads explained it, or maybe that was a one time ad a few months ago in MR.

Go on their website and you will see the level of detail is higher which is why they cost more.
I asked because I just picked up one of their signature boxcars which was about 8 bucks more than the 2 evolutions I have. I don’t see much difference in detail. I’ll have to look a little closer I guess.
This question was asked on ExactRail’s Facebook page several weeks ago and here is there official answer.
“While all ExactRail products are alike in quality, the Platinum and Signature series contain increased detail beyond the Express and Evolution series. The more detailed a car, the higher the part count is for that car. Additionally, Signature series products are reserved for more unique railroads.”
FWIW, I’ve been extremely satisfied with any of my ExactRail rolling stock no matter what series it comes from.
I mostly run Accurail, even a couple of Atlas, but being back in the hobby after almost 20 years out I just had to have one of the “latest and greatest” plastic models out there, and I like the MILW so I picked up one of the Signature ribbed side boxcars. Wow. VERY nice. I think you do get your money’s worth, but I just don’t have that much money for more!
Also, I’m definitely more nervous when handling that car because of the level of detail.
