Exciting Times In Bucyrus!

This morning around 6 AM I heard a distant rumble and thought it was odd because the temperature was 29 degrees and way to cold for a thunderstorm…When I started on my walk this morning I notice a train blocking the crossings…So,I decided to investigate.Heres what I found in the Benson yard area.A 6 car derailment on the NS.The side boom cats are R.J.Corman
derailment services…

Yikes! No one hurt I assume since it looks to be all freight?

No injuries…Thankfully the tank cars was none hazardous.

As a update.
As of 4PM(Sat).

Hey Larry, I heard of this on the Fostoria Scanner channels when I had them up on the PC on Saturday. It seems that they had everything held up from Fostoria all the way back to Ft.Wayne. This was the most exciting thing that has happened since I started to listen again to the Fostoria channels again.

From my understanding the tracks should return to normal operation later today and there should be a flood of trains for the next 24-36 hours.I plan on being track side tomorrow. They are running the “hot” trains like intermodal, auto parts and auto rack trains.
