Sunshine Model Railway Club and Essendon Model Railway Club are holding a joint exhibition at Coburg town Hall Melbourne Australia, this Saturday and Sunday 9:30 till 5. I won’t be there , but we just shipped two AC4400’s from here at the GE plant to RIO TINTO, down under. Is their rail facility very big ?
I haven’t been to Northwestern Australia either… I have flown over it a few times on the way to Europe but I believe the railways up there are on a fairly grand scale, heavy tonnages, frequent trains from the mines to the wharves… sorry I haven’t been!
