Is the bachmann #6 switch the same as the Atlas #6 custom line or super switch? What I mean by the same is if you took out the bachmann switch and put in the Atalas you wouldn’t need to change anything.
They probably aren’t interchangeable as far as being able to remove one and drop the other. The frog angle of a No.6 turnout is the same no matter who made it, but the length of the straight tracks and the curved leg’s track may not be the same length, so you may need to add a small piece of track or remove an inch or so of track depending which is longer and which is shorter.
You’d have to check maybe the Atlas and Bachmann website to get the specifications of each one.
No, they are different. As Atlas #6s are different from Peco #6s which are different from Kato #6s which are different from MicroEngineering #6s…etc…
